Cutting Oils

NEAT CUTTING OIL

Water Soluble Cutting Oils are also referred to as cutting oils, soluble oils and cutting fluids. The term water-soluble can be said to be inappropriate as these are not soluble in water but form an emulsion when added to water. Adding water to the oil helps rust prevention, it carries away the heat, and it more effectively removes particles and also prevents bacteria or fungus build-up. They are comprised of additives to build up the properties of lubrication, besides having biocides for any stinking stench to be controlled.
These cutting oil are a recent invention and are very effective as they do not dissolve in water but instead use water as an agent to form an emulsion over the metal surface. This helps prevent all chances of rust accumulation on the metal surface.
